How does The Personal Barber work?
The Personal Barber is a recurring subscription service that provides you with everything you need to have the best possible shave and to enjoy doing it! Every 6 or 12 weeks we send you a curated selection of essential high quality wet shaving products to keep you looking dapper whilst adding extras you may not have tried before to keep things intriguing. 
How much does it cost?
The Personal Barber provides you with the means to have a great and enjoyable shave for only £24.95 per box. We offer a 10% discount on your first box if you sign up for our newsletter. 
What do I get in The Personal Barber Subscription Box?
Your first box will include everything you need for a great shave so you can hit the ground running, even if you've never shaved before: a traditional safety razor, shaving brush, shaving soap/cream and replacement blades. On top of this, follow-up boxes feature extra pre and post-shave products you may never have tried before to make your morning routine even more interesting, such as pre-shave oils, balms, alums and more. Each box features completely different items but you will always be stocked with what you need to stay silky smooth. Can I add items to my upcoming renewal?
Yes! If you login to your account, and head over to "manage subscriptions" you can add extra items to your box to save on postage costs.
Do the products contain allergens?
As the contents of the box changes with each delivery, we can't guarantee it will be allergen-free. However, we do specify the ingredients in each box on our blog page so you can check before you buy. If a box is coming up with an item that you won't be able to make use of, drop us an email and we will try our best to find you a replacement from a previous box, subject to stock.
How does billing work?
Signing up for The Personal Barber means opting into a subscription service that bills you according to your chosen box frequency. 
When does The Personal Barber ship boxes?
We aim to send out your box the same day that you place an order (if ordered by 12:00 Midday). The next box in your subscription will be shipped the day after your next renewal (roughly 6 or 12 weeks after your last payment). You will receive a shipping notice when your box ships.
How much does shipping cost?
It's free. For UK subscribers to our recurring subscription boxes, shipping is included as part of the monthly cost, you don't pay anything extra.

However buying individual items from our online shop (not the subscription) has a small delivery fee unless you reach the minimum spend of £60. If you buy an item at the same time as the subscription box, we can combine the two into one package and shipping will be free.

Do you ship to anywhere in the world?

Shipping costs for our subscription boxes cost:
£3 to EU addresses
£7 to the rest of world
Please note that shipping for subscription boxes internationally is different to the cost of shipping individual items in our online shop. This is because we subsidise part of the cost to make it as cheap as possible for our subscribers.

When should I expect my box to arrive?

For UK subscribers to our recurring subscription, you should expect your box 3-5 days after receiving our 'shipped' notification. 
International customers can expect to receive their box 5-7 business days after receiving their 'shipped' notification.

Who delivers The Personal Barber boxes?

We usually ship all subscription boxes with Royal Mail.

My box hasn't shown up yet, what do I do?

For UK customers: If it's been 10 days since receiving your shipped notification email and your order hasn't shown up, please get in touch at hello@thepersonalbarber.com
We will try to track down your parcel and send a replacement if required.
For International customers: Royal Mail requires us to wait a full 30 days before they'll consider a parcel lost, but please get in touch if it's been 2 weeks since your shipped notification and we can do our best to chase them up.

How do I update my account information?

To update your account information such as address, log-in at the top left of the page with your email address and password then you can see all your details which can then be altered by clicking the edit button. If you have any problems, get in touch at hello@thepersonalbarber.com.

Can I skip a box or cancel my subscription?

Of course! If you are not completely satisfied with The Personal Barber, or maybe you want to grow a beard for a bit, you can cancel at any time from your account page. If you are perhaps going on holiday or simply want to take a break from shaving you can click the "skip a box" button (also on your account page).
Please note, once a renewal payment has been taken, your subscription box goes into packing and processing for the next day and cannot be cancelled. But don't worry, we give you plenty of time to cancel before renewing so you're never caught short.

Do you send out a reminder of renewal?

Yes! We send out a reminder email, notifying you of your next payment and box, 4 days before it is processed.

How much does shipping cost?

For all orders in the UK over £60, we'll deliver it for free. For full shipping cost details see our Delivery Charges. We have tried to keep the cost of shipping as low as possible by charging by weight, this is what our couriers use to determine how they charge us.

When will my order be shipped?

We aim to ship all orders made before 12:00, midday GMT on the same day they were placed. Orders made over the weekend will be shipped on Monday. You will be sent a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.

My order has arrived damage, what do I do?

If your order has arrived damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get it replaced.

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately as once an order enters our shipping process it cannot be recalled
