The Personal Barber is the curated shaving subscription that wants to turn your daily chore into a satisfying experience to look forward to.

Our latest kit is the “Extra-care box” which will be going out to renewing Discovery box subscribers between April 1st – May 15th. With this kit we usually feature products that aren’t usually associated with shaving but provide the extra piece of the male grooming puzzle such as a top quality moisturiser, serum or eye cream.
We also have a smaller sized box, called the Essentials box, that features just the latest picked shaving soap/cream and a restock of 10 DE razor blades. This is for members that want to try new soaps and creams but would rather pick their own extra products. You can add any additional items to your Essentials Box without incurring extra postage fees.

We are thrilled to introduce our latest addition to the shaving cream collection: Juniper & Chamomile. This luxurious cream is handmade in small batches by our artisan soapmaker in East England using only the finest vegan ingredients and without any parabens.
It has been carefully formulated to provide a smooth and effortless shave. The high-quality coconut oils and glycerin in this formula work together to create a rich lather that helps reduce irritation and leave your skin feeling soft, moisturised and comfortable all day.
Crafted with meticulous care, this luxurious concoction tantalizes with the crisp, invigorating essence of juniper, while soothing waves of chamomile gently caress your skin. As you lather up, the aromatic symphony envelops you, transforming your daily shave into a sensory escape to serene meadows and fragrant forests. The scent is designed to be enjoyed only during your shave. It’s a rinse-off product so the scent doesn’t linger long and therefore won’t interfere with your choice of aftershave.
To use: Take a small almond-sized dollop of shaving cream with a dry finger and, using a slightly damp brush, work up your lather in either a bowl, your hand, or directly on your face. This is a thirsty cream so you can be quite generous with the drops of water to build up a thick lather. But try not to let water into the cream tub as it will make it go mushy and reduce its longevity.

Astra Super Stainless and Gillete Silver Blue Double-Edge Razor Blades RRP £3.90
The Super Stainless version of Astras are a bit sharper than their green counterparts with slightly reduced longevity. Originally made in the Czech Republic, each blade lasts 3-6 shaves depending on beard thickness, and number of passes made.
The Gillette Silver Blue are another fantastic blade that are sharp whilst giving a consistent shave with great longevity. Each blade lasts 3-7 shaves depending on beard thickness with most getting an average of 5.
