Muhle Aloe Vera Shaving Soap
Muhle are a very well known family business from Germany that have been creating wet shaving products for over 70 years. They have a reputation for the high quality and clean, minimalist design of their products. This shaving soap is no exception. As you open the box, the thought that went into designing the product is immediately obvious. After featuring a particularly strong smelling soap last month, we decided to go for a more subtle option with this box. The Muhle soap has a pleasing fresh scent with hints of oakmoss and mint without being overpowering. It’s also made with natural aloe vera pulp which is known to calm and soothe, making it ideal for even those with particularly sensitive skin. The best part about this soap is the performance! With just a few swirls of the brush you’ll have an incredibly dense, stable lather that cushions the blade for a pleasing shave without drying out your skin.
To use: Load a damp shaving brush on the top of the soap until the brush is fully loaded (should take no longer than 10 seconds with this soap) and then work into a rich lather directly on the face, in the hand, or in a bowl. If you live in a hard water area, it can be easier to soak the soap in water for a minute to soften before lathering.
Rehab London Calm Balm
Rehab London is an exciting brand from the capital that came about after 2 years of researching what men wanted in their male grooming products. The end result is their incredible line that features a healthy dose of science-backed natural ingredients such as Hawaiian water algae and is SLS, paraben and petrochemical free. Their calm balm is our favourite product in that range. It immediately soothes the skin and leaves it feeling noticeably smoother and calmed. The Rockweed extract reduces any inflammation and redness making it perfect when perfecting your shaving technique. The combination of cocoa butter and lipomoist deeply hydrates and leaves skin feeling soft and supple. Even if you've achieved the most effortlessly comfortable shave possible, without a hint of irritation, everyone's skin needs a bit of TLC after running a razor over it. Overall this is a fantastic product for keeping your skin in top condition.
To use: Gently massage into skin immediately after shaving to help alleviate any potential irritation as well as hydrate and soothe.
Aromantom Coiffure Solid Cologne
We’re very excited to introduce Aromantom, a fantastic brand from Ireland that creates their beautiful range of products in small batches by hand. We love solid colognes and hope you will too, we believe they’re the future of applying fragrance. Unlike a bulky aftershave bottle, this solid cologne tin is perfect for carrying in your pocket or gym bag whilst being discreet enough for quick and simple application on the go, whenever you need a top-up. Made from a highly concentrated wax base without any water content it allows for a far more concentrated fragrance meaning a little goes a long way! It also has the added benefit of being alcohol free so it won’t dry or irritate your skin. We’re featuring their Coiffure fragrance which is an addictive scent with top notes of rosemary, star anise and bergamot; middle notes of lavender, cloves, geranium and coumarin; and base notes of patchouli, guaiac wood, vetiver and oak moss. You won’t want to be without this clean, masculine fragrance.
To use: Gently rub your finger over the balm in a circular motion and then apply to your pulse points such as your wrist, neck and behind your ears. We use the pulse points because they heat up the cologne, making it last longer. Only a small amount is needed. Scent should last roughly 4 hours before it may need reapplying.
Derby Extra Replacement Blades
Derby Extra are possibly the best selling blade in the UK. Manufactured in Turkey, they are perfect for beginners and veterans alike. Sharp enough to go through any well-prepared beard and smooth enough not to be too daunting for a new wet shaver. Each blade will last a minimum of 3 shaves and most people will get up to 6.
